These are good quality and bright, and much less expensive than the Toyota part. 100% worth it. Just a few things to keep in mind:
1- If your truck doesn't have the "Jellyfish Launcher" switch down by your left knee, you need to buy one of those, I got one on Amazon. People won't believe you when you say you don't have one and will tell you that all Tacoma's other than SR's have it. But I believe you... my '23 TRD Off Road didn't have the switch. When you take that switch panel off, the wire/plug for the switch is attached to the back of the panel, just plug it into the switch and you're good to go.
2- Watch the Yota install video on Youtube, it tells you step by step how to install the lights, it takes 3 minutes to do. It literally takes longer to watch the video than to install the lights. Pull the light off how they show you, you'll think it's going to break, it will sound like you broke it, but it won't break, I promise.
3- Install the driver's side first, it will go exactly how the video shows. Then install the passenger side, it's a tiny bit different. You'll notice that the harness for the license plate lights/trailer wiring goes through the same hole behind the taillight, not a big deal, there's plenty of room. But that existing harness clips into the same hole in the bodywork that the Yoda bed light harness is designed to, and there isn't enough slack to reach the other clip hole, so you'll want to use some electrical tape to tape it to the other harness, to keep it dressed nicely (unless you don't care about that). The other thing that's different is that you can't reach up into the cavity from under the truck to unclip the blank panel from inside the bed on that side, it's blocked off. Don't worry, just get a flat head screwdriver, or your dainty little fingers up under the bottom to release the blank and you're good to go.
