Pedal Monster Transforms the Mushy Tacoma Pedal

If you drive a 3rd Gen Tacoma, you're likely familiar with the mushy, disconnected feeling throttle pedal. After spending a few months with another brand's solution, I was frustrated. I'm familiar with the Banks brand from several friends' diesel trucks, and know that they have a good reputation. After seeing a review of the Pedal Monster unit, I decided to give it a shot. I spent a few days testing a few different settings, and of course trying the Track mode just to see how aggressive it is (hint: very). I've been very pleased with how it transforms the pedal feel, but the biggest difference is that the throttle advance kicks the transmission down earlier, which fixed one of my biggest complaints with the stock setup. I'll be towing quite a bit this summer, and I look forward to experiencing the difference while pulling a trailer. All said, I'm completely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
