Product Description

The OEM passenger-side fixed KDSS link is a known weak point - hit it hard enough on a drop or a rock and it bends, pushes the sway bar out of alignment, and starts stressing the KDSS strut shaft. The Dr. KDSS Billet Fixed Link replaces it with a CNC-machined 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum link that's designed to take that hit without bending. It accomplishes the same goal as rear KDSS drop spacers - allowing full rear suspension droop and keeping the KDSS strut piston in its OEM operating range - but does it in a stronger, more trail-resilient way. The recommended kit (Billet Fixed Link + Driver-Side Spacer) is the complete solution for 2010+ 4Runner owners running extended-travel rear shocks or wheeling harder than stock.

Fitment Notes

  • Fits all 2010+ 4Runner's with KDSS
  • KDSS drop kits - ours or any other manufacturer’s - are not designed to fix or prevent KDSS lean
  • Works only with DRKDSS or Treaty Oak rear drop spacers
  • Spacer dimensions must match this system ( 2” spacer) 

Included

  • (1) 7075 billet fixed link
  • Pre-installed ¾" Pro Bearing uniball with snap ring
  • (2) M10 × 1.25 × 60mm flange head bolts (clear zinc)
  • (2) M10 × 1.25 locking nuts
  • (2) Stainless steel high-misalignment spacers
  • (2) Washers (not used on all vehicles). If you have room because you have the round bushing and thinner smaller cap.   Run the washers with the locking nuts.   If you have an updated bushing and bottom cap ( thicker , typically 2018+ ) then no need for washers
