OEM Toyotas Parts installed by anyone other than an authorized Toyota dealer are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase only and the warranty coverage is limited to the replacement value of the Part. Superchargers carry the same coverage.
This warranty does not cover maintenance services such as replacement of brake pads/linings and clutch linings. This warranty does not cover noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions and other deterioration caused by normal wear and tear. Part failure caused by improper installation by anyone other than an authorized Toyota or dealer may void the TRD Part warranty, the new vehicle warranty or both.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of any part complies with all applicable federal, state or local laws, regulations and ordinances.
Race or Off-Highway Use Parts have no warranty. Should any Race or Off-Highway Use Parts shown in this catalog prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor, dealer or retailer, shall assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair of the defective part and of any damage that may have been caused by the defective part. The buyer assumes the entire risk as to the performance of such parts. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable federal, state, local or other law, Toyota expressly disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, even if this catalog or any other materials mention a particular purpose for a Race or Off-Highway Use Part. Toyota also disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of personal property, loss of profits or revenue, cost of purchase of replacement goods, or claims of customers of the purchaser that result from the use of any and all Race or Off-Road Use Parts contained in this catalog. Race or Off-Highway Use Parts are for race or off-highway purposes only. Vehicles equipped with Race or Off-Highway. Use Parts should not be operated on public roads. Toyota offers Race or Off-Highway Use Parts for track or off-highway competitive or performance use only. Installation of any Race or Off-Highway Use Part on a vehicle operated on public roads may violate federal, state or local laws or regulations including, but not limited to, emission requirements and motor vehicle safety standards. In California these parts may legally be used only on a racing vehicle that will never be operated on public roads. In addition, federal statutes, regulations and laws in many states prohibit the removal, modification, alteration or disconnecting of any parts or elements of a vehicle’s design affecting emissions or safety on vehicles intended for use on public streets or highways. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the use of any TRD Race or Off-Road Use Part complies with all applicable federal, state or local laws, regulations and ordinances.
Installation of Race or Off-Highway Use Parts may adversely affect the warranty coverage on your vehicle. The addition of Race or Off-Highway Use Parts on a vehicle is not covered by the vehicle warranty and any failure that they may cause is also not covered by the vehicle warranty.
Race or Off-Highway Use Parts may not be installed by a Toyota or Scion dealer on a vehicle intended for use on public roads. Race or Off-Highway Use Parts should not be sold or financed in conjunction with the sale of a new vehicle.
